Happy Mother of the Bride

A Mother of the Bride ordered lighthouse shaped sugar cookies to surprise the bride and groom who were engaged at Nubble Light in Maine. I knew right away that I would order a cutter from Ecrandal. I've used them in the past and love the crisp cut edges and rolled tops that make them comfortable to use. I'm not a fussy cookie decorator (yet!) so rely on clear designs to get the image across. The details at the base of the lighthouse and around the top make it an easy shape to identify with minimal decor. The cookies were part of an elaborate sweets display and the mother of the bride was thrilled. This humble Maine baker is pleased to have another lovely Ecrandal cutter in her collection. Thanks!
